Since beginning the Eco Church group at St Giles in late 2021, we have been working towards a Bronze award on the A Rocha Eco Church scheme. We have introduced many measures at St Giles for the five areas of Church Life. These are: * Worship and teaching, * Management of church buildings, * Management of church land, 
* Community and global engagement and * Lifestyle.  ​St Giles was finally awarded the Bronze Award on 28th March 2022 and has now been awarded the Silver Award   ecochurch.arocha.org.uk/

​One measure that we have taken is to apply to be a Fairtrade Church.  For many years we have been using Fairtrade items as part of the refreshments served at St Giles and we have celebrated Fairtrade Fortnight.

The churchyard is changing as the days are getting warmer. We are waiting to see if we havve achieved the Bronze award of the Northamptonshire Churchyard Conservation Scheme.
