Older people...We can also help with various needs – please be in touch if any of the following would be helpful, or indeed if you’d be able to help with any of these:

love in action...We recognise that there are many older people within our community in Desborough who live on their own, and can struggle with loneliness. We hold two lunches a month which are geared towards those who are on their own and would appreciate some company. See the contacts page to enquire for details.
Pastoral Care is offered to anyone in the community that needs some extra support, particularly during times of crisis or extra stress. For example our Love in Action team have a ready supply of home cooked meals which can be delivered both to people on their own and families.
Ladies FellowshipThe Ladies Fellowship is a group of (mostly) retired ladies who meet on a Wednesday at 2pm in the Community Centre for a time of fellowship. We sing hymns, listen to Bible readings and, most weeks, have a speaker. We organise a New Year lunch, enter the Church flower festivals, take part in the World Day of Prayer and have an outing in August. We finish our meetings with a chat over tea and biscuits, finishing around 3.30pm. Contact Jo for more information (see contacts page)
