We have a varied worship pattern and all are welcome at any of our services.

COVID GUIDANCE
 Before Attending 
- Wearing a warm coat is advisable, as the building will have been aired before your arrival.
- Please do not attend any services or church activities if you feel unwell, or, of course, if you test positive. 
During the service 
​
- We ask that masks be worn when we sing and move around the building, but are no longer asking you to wear a mask throughout the service.

Worship in the church building:
Sundays at 8.30am

3rd and 4th Said Holy Communion
Sundays at 10am
1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays Holy Communion with groups for children
2nd and 4th Sundays All Age Worship

Our all age services are geared to all ages and are informal and fun! Our communion services are relaxed and informal and children are warmly welcomed.

Wednesdays at 10am
Services alternate between Holy Communion and a Service of the Word, all are welcome. The services are followed by refreshments in the Community Centre.

Morning Prayer: 
Thursday Mornings: Revd. Sophie will lead Morning Prayer using liturgy from the Northumbria Community at 08:30am-08:50am. No need to bring anything just join the link. Feel free to keep your camera off as it is early for some :-).

1ST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

10am: Holy Communion - with groups for primary school aged children. We usually have a Band to help lead our worship and occasionally we include a couple of more traditional hymns on the organ. Our older children get involved in the service and for the tiny ones we have a specially designated children's area where parents can sit with them and still take part in the service.

2ND SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

8.30am: Said Holy Communion - a quiet and more traditional service.
​
10am: All Age service. A relaxed and informal service for all ages, which includes a short talk just for the adults with a separate children's activity. The All Age Service Team lead this service, the team consists of all ages. If you'd like to join be in touch with Hannah Jeffery.

3RD SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

10am: Holy Communion - with groups for primary school aged children. We usually have a Band to help lead our worship, and occasionally we include a couple of more traditional hymns on the organ. Our older children get involved in the service, and for the tiny ones we have a specially designated children's area where parents can sit with them and still take part in the service.

6pm: Evensong - for those who like something a bit more traditional

4TH SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

8.30am: (as of January 2022) Said Holy Communion - a quiet and more traditional service.
​
10am: Mini Church and 'Going Deeper'. Mini Church usually takes place in the Community Centre and is aimed at families with primary school aged children and below. A short, relaxed service, with crafts, fun, puppets and doughnuts!
'Going deeper' takes place in the church building and is a service containing worship and the chance to delve a little more deeply into the word of God.

Every few months Mini Church join us in the church building and we all worship together Mini Church style!

5TH SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

10am: Holy Communion - with groups for primary school aged children. We usually have a Band to help lead our worship, and occasionally we include a couple of more traditional hymns on the organ. Our older children get involved in the service, and for the tiny ones we have a specially designated children's area where parents can sit with them and still take part in the service.
We also have Praise services once a quarter on a Sunday evening with contemporary worship led by our Band.
